“BUCKBOARD BENCH”
The “Buckboard Bench” is reminiscent of the seats used on small buckboard wagons that traversed the West during the late 1800’s. This makes a great decorative utilitarian bench for hallway seating or as a sturdy plant stand for a “Cabin”, “Lodge”, or “Ranch House” look.
The seat of the bench is constructed of highly distressed pine planks with angled side and back edge boards stained a warm wood tone and given a clear satin finish. Antiqued iron handles are mounted on each side board to help keep a passenger from being “Bucked” out. The lower part of the bench is constructed of pine planks that are available in three standard finishes: “Red River” (vibrant red), “Trapper Green” (dark green), and “Ghost Town” (A natural sun bleached, wind blasted gray). All of the benches have a rich, highly distressed “Trail Worn”, patina with a clear satin finish. For a small additional charge any custom color finish is possible.
