“SADDLE STAND”
This “Saddle Stand” is designed so that it can be used as an “Every Day” working stand or as a “Display Stand” for showing an “Historic” saddle, as in the picture, or a “Show” saddle. The open slatted, barrel design keeps the stand lighter in weight, but more importantly, it also allows air circulation to help dry out working saddles and minimize mold and mildew on the leather. There is a “Bridle Block” on the front end of the barrel for hanging a halter, hackamore, or bridle.
We make the saddle stands in five standard finishes: “Red River” (vibrant red), “Trapper Green” (dark green), “Ghost Town” (A natural sun bleached, wind blasted gray), U.S. Cavalry "Trooper Blue" (dark blue) and “Mahogany” (Stained). All of the saddles have a rich, highly distressed, “Antiqued”, patina with a clear satin finish. For a small additional charge any custom color finish is possible. The stands are disassembled for more compact shipping. Reassembly involves reinserting 8 bolts.
